यह ब्लॉग एक प्रयास है कुछ अलग करने का(जानता हूँ कि हर कोई अपने प्रयास के बारे में ऐसे ही कहता है)। 
भारतीय ब्लॉग(चिठ्ठा) जगत अभी अपने विदेशी तद्रूपों की तरह विकसित नहीं हुआ है परन्तु विकास के मार्ग पर गतिमान अवश्य है। और भारतीय ब्लॉग जगत में भी दक्षिण भारतीय ब्लॉग अधिक हैं और हिन्दी ब्लॉग कम हैं, पर सदैव ही कम नहीं रहेंगे ऐसी मेरी आशा है। एक दिन मेरे मन में विचार आया कि जब लगभग हर कोई अपनी मातृभाषा में लिखता है तो मैं क्यों न लिखूँ, आखिर हर जगह अंग्रेज़ी के प्रयोग से मैं हिन्दी से काफ़ी दूर हो गया था और कई वर्षों से हिन्दी नहीं लिखी थी। इसलिए बिना विलम्ब के मैंने अपना हिन्दी ब्लॉग शुरू कर डाला जो कि www.amitgupta.in पर सजीव है!! तदोपरान्त आजकल वीडियो ब्लॉगिंग के बढ़ते चलन तो देख निर्णय लिया कि क्यों न अपना भी एक वीडियो ब्लॉग शुरू किया जाए, वैसे भी भारतीय ब्लॉग जगत में कई ब्लॉगों पर विचरण करने के बाद भी मुझे किसी भारतीय वीडियो ब्लॉग के बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं मिली, शायद कोई हो ही न अथवा इक्के दुक्के ही हों जिनके बारे में ज्यादा लोग न जानते हों।
तो इसलिए प्रस्तुत है “magic-I“(अथवा “जादुई आँख”!!), एक ऐवीलॉग जहाँ पर आडियो और विडियो का समागम मिलेगा!! यहाँ केवल मेरे ही आडियो-विडियो नहीं होंगे, परन्तु आडियो और विडियो ब्लॉग जगत में जहाँ मुझे कुछ अच्छा ब्लॉग करने लायक मिलेगा, वह यहाँ पर उपलब्ध होगा।

This is an effort to do something differently, I know everyone says that about their next big thing, but what the heck!! Indian blogosphere hasn’t reached where its foreign(especially western) counterparts are, and even in Indian blogosphere, the south indian bloggers are much ahead than Hindi bloggers, but its a continous progress and I’ve no doubts that soon the Hindi blogosphere will be standing tall atop the highest peak!!
One day I had a brainwave that I should blog in Hindi too, quite a lot of people blog in their mother tongue and why shouldn’t I, given the fact that due to dominance of English in quite a many parts of my life, I’d become quite distant from Hindi as it was being used only when communicating with people here. And to say nothing of the fact that I’d not written in Hindi for many years, I almost forgot how to write in Hindi. So without a delay, I started my Hindi blog which is available at www.amitgupta.in. Thereafter, seeing the growing trend of video blogging & increasing vlogs(or video logs), I thought it was time that I start one too. In all of my wandering around the Indian blogosphere, I hadn’t come across a single Indian video or audio blog, much less a Hindi one, quite possibly there are none or might be only one or two about whom not many people know!!
So I give you “magic-I“(as in “magic eye”), an avlog where you’ll find a somewhat interesting(I do hope so) blend of audio & video blogging, spiced in Indian flavour, the desi style!!

You need to have support for east-asian langauges installed in your windows(available in “Regional & Language Options” in control panel) & browser set to display unicode characters to be able to view the Hindi glyphs in this blog(I’ve no idea on how to do it in Linux).
If you don’t understand Hindi, then not to worry, since there will definitely be english stuff here as well.
